The human body consists of various organs and systems, each serving distinct purposes and functions, but they all have finite lifespans. A failure of some systems can cause death and some can be treated to recovery to maintain a longer life. Every entity in existence has a predetermined lifespan. Thus, it’s crucial to gauge one’s health status and diligently monitor for any signs of illness.

I am deeply passionate about power transformers and prioritizing both my health and the maintenance of my assets. I take pride in ensuring that both aspects of my life are in excellent condition. With this goal in mind, I am excited to announce the launch of my blog, where I will share insights and ideas aimed at driving continuous improvements in the management of power transformer life cycles.

There are many books and texts out there on power transformers, so I intend to provide a succinct version that is well-researched and can be quickly applied. Just like humans, power transformers have a limited design life which may either be exceeded or diminished depending on how it has been operated or “living”.  The main topics covered are:
